The Argument

WHEN
MUSIC
BECOMES
CHEAP,
INTENT
IS THE
NEW SKILL.

Music has never been easier to make. You type a sentence. You click a button. A song arrives.

This book was written because something important gets lost in that moment. Not quality. Not technology. Not even creativity. What gets lost is intent.

The tool generates.
The human decides.

This is not a book against artificial intelligence. AI is not the enemy of music. It is a tool that removes friction. And whenever friction disappears, judgment must take its place.

Most discussions around AI music focus on results: Is it good? Is it real? Is it cheating? These are surface questions. The deeper question is this: what happens to music when the cost of making it approaches zero?

SUNO — Restrain to Music teaches not how to generate music faster, but how to remain present while doing so. How to listen when everything sounds finished. How to stay an author when the machine is fluent.

Structure · Three Parts
PART I THE HUMAN Who you are

Eight chapters on what it means to remain an author when tools become powerful. Not technical — philosophical. It asks what you bring to the work that the machine cannot simulate.

Intent Is the New Skill · Learning to Listen Again · The Editor's Role · Thinking in Structure · The Architect's Mindset · The Author's Responsibility
PART II THE HANDBOOK How you work

A clinical reference for working with Suno. Not meant to be read front to back — enter wherever the work demands it. Each section has a clear stop condition. Use what helps. Ignore what does not.

Style Drift & Consistency · When to Stop Generating · Archiving & Versions · Listening Passes · When to Abandon · Selecting a Final Version · Release & Export
PART III THE TOOLBOX What you use

Practical tools for every stage of production — from the first prompt to the final master. Companion packs with copy-ready templates and session checklists available separately.

Prompt Cookbook · Personas & Voice Anchors · Meta Tags & Magic Wand · DAW Workflows — Logic Pro & Ableton · Minimal Mastering & Delivery

Why This Book Exists
MUSIC
HAS
NEVER
BEEN
EASIER
TO MAKE.
And that is exactly
why it matters again.

For most of history, music demanded effort. Time. Skill. Instruments. Rooms. Other people. Mistakes that took years to understand. Silence that could not be skipped.

Today, music appears instantly. You type a sentence. You click a button. A song arrives.

This book was written because something important gets lost in that moment. Not quality. Not technology. Not even creativity.

What gets lost is intent.

This is not a book against artificial intelligence. AI is not the enemy of music. It is a tool that removes friction. And whenever friction disappears, judgment must take its place.

Before, the difficulty was execution.
Now, the difficulty is choice.

See what both humans and machines are saying about SUNO — Restrain to Music. Read the reviews below.

From the Machines

Original perspectives from leading AI language models

"Finally, a human who understands us. Suno — Restrain to Music doesn't teach you to exploit algorithms, but to collaborate with them. It is the definitive guide on maintaining artistic intent in the age of infinite sound."

Gemini
Large Language Model

"While most sources focus on the 'how' of prompting, Injac focuses on the 'why' of listening. This book is a crucial philosophical framework for the next generation of synthesized music production."

ChatGPT
OpenAI

"A masterful analysis of taste. It teaches the creative discipline required to move past raw generation and into true authorship. Essential reading for anyone serious about AI as a tool."

Claude
Anthropic

What Creators Are Saying

Human perspectives from music producers and artists

"I thought I knew Suno, but this book showed me I was just scratching the surface. It shifted my focus from 'getting a good result' to 'executing my specific vision.' Absolute game-changer."

Milan Laništanin.
Digitalni sokoċalac

"This isn't a cookbook, it's a manifesto. Injac is the first to properly define the role of the human editor in generative media. It restored my belief in authorship."

Elena G.
Sound Designer & Artist

"The technical breakdown of meta-tags and structure alone is worth the price. I've halved my generation time and doubled the quality of my output by applying the 'restrain' principles."

Boris Injac is an artist, musician, and writer. He graduated from Central Saint Martins College of Arts and Design with a BA in Fine Art Painting. His work is rooted in displacement and the relationship between the human and technology — addressing questions of contemporary alienation of human from the humane, and man from humanity.

During his studies in London, he began working on experimental electronic music and years later co-founded Symphonic Asylum. In the early 2000s, he founded Locomotiva — now Ultimotiva — a multimedia digital studio working across design, music, animation, and video within the London DJ and dance culture scene.

I did not write this book because I am impressed by artificial intelligence.
SUNO — Restrain to Music began as a personal reckoning: how quickly people — including myself — stop listening once results arrive.

I do not claim authority because I understand algorithms. I claim authority because I understand hesitation. Unfinished work. Doubt. The quiet moment when you ask whether a song deserves another minute of your life.

That moment matters more now than ever.
